What is the Arkansas CIO IT Academy?

The Arkansas CIO IT Academy is a program for public sector CIOs or other IT staff wishing to enhance the knowledge and leadership skills relevant to employees in today’s dynamic government setting.  Public sector employees can take their knowledge and leadership skills to the next level through training and professional development programs that cover a broad array of financial, legislative, and special topics in leadership and management.  The Arkansas CIO IT Academy will be held semi-annually.

How It Works

Arkansas CIO IT Academy participants expand their skills in strategic planning, executive presentation, networking and collaborative management, the legislative budget process and IT procurement processes.  Participants will meet new, interesting, and dynamic peers while having the opportunity to network and collaborate with experts from other public sector entities.
